Pediatric Pain Letter

Pediatric Pain Letter (PPL) provides free, open-access, peer-reviewed commentaries on pain in infants, children and adolescents. Book reviews and announcements of events related to pediatric pain are also accepted. Links are provided to Medline abstracts for articles cited or reviewed in PPL.

PPL is published online in February, June, and October.

PPL was founded in 1996 by Patrick J McGrath and G Allen Finley, Centre for Pediatric Pain Research, Dalhousie University and IWK Health Centre, Halifax, Canada. It was transferred in 2008 to the Special Interest Group on Pain in Childhood, International Association for the Study of Pain. Carl L von Baeyer, PhD, served as editor for Vol. 7 through 15. The current editor is Deirdre Logan, PhD, Children’s Hospital Boston, Boston, USA.
